Over the weekend, a package arrived for WION's Jim and Justin. It took awhile to open, having been packaged so very well....Inside was a large homemade card, a heartwarming letter, and more. It has come to our attention that the Michigan News Network is once again accepting (if not soliciting) advertisements either directly FROM political candidates for federal positions, OR their "PACs." WION welcomed members of the West Michigan and Lansing S.B.E. chapters (Society of broadcast Engineers) for their annual picnic on our lawn this evening. So, for awhile, WION had the SMARTEST backyard anywhere in the United States or maybe even the world. Engineers chatting with we, the "normal" people...lol...and exchanging stories.
