We have Townhall News for national and international updates ’round the clock…no more than 5 minutes so you’re not “over news’d”

We have weather updates twice an hour, more during weather “events” from our staff and the national weather service….and our very own advanced technolgy weather station at WION for local forecasts and info!

For over 18 years we’ve brought you “The Music you Know and the Information you Need!”

Our music is 60’s through early 2000’s and just a few of today’s “unique” songs added specifically for WION by Midday Co-host Justin of the J and J Midday show!  Many of our unique “adds” are requests from our “Mostly Request Thursday” or things that Justin has discovered and wanted to add to our music selections!

We may not be “in” the studio every hour of every day, but we’re nearby, ready to get behind the microphone for local information, weather updates, weather emergencies, and sometimes just for “fun” during times when the staff stops in for one reason or another.
