Look at this headline, found in a box of about 2.5 pounds of old 1950’s and early 1960’s headlines that I was going through today in WION’s back room….Almost laughable now that it’s such a big deal seeing this, huh?  And, this must be well before the fill-in of the opposite side of the road where M1CCU, Independent Bank, and Olivera’s currently sit.
