We’re coming up on a huge birthday soon. This year, on july 4th, 2026, our country celebrates two hundred fifty years! That’s a lot of years! That’s a lot of history…AND, that’s a lot of opportunity!

Despite the way this country seems so divided and “determined to fight among it’s own people”….AT Wion, we believe it’s a time for celebration and your voices should be heard.

With that in mind, we’ve turned our toll free number into a “wish the united states of america a happy birthday” hotline. It works just like we do at Christmas…AND It’s simple.

The opportunity is open to individuals, families, and non profit organizations, not to businesses….(We have advertising for that and that’s how we pay our bills if you didn’t know.)

Simply call 844-700-WION with your own unique way of wishing our country a happy 250th birthday, or, in some way congratulate the United States on this very big occasion coming up July 4th. Try to keep your recording to a minute or less, and let us do the editing. We’ll remove ums, aws, spaces, and even add music to make you sound great…THEN…we’ll add your voices to our july 4th weekend programming! You should be a part of this country’s celebration, after all, not every country has independent broadcasting like we offer at WION….and we want you to celebrate what you think is important about our great country.

So call 844-700-WION with your “birthday greeting” for the United States….and then listen for your voice in July, on “America’s Biggest Little Radio Station as we Celebrate a great day in our country’s history this year…..ON July 4th….2026!

Here is a Demo from our WION Internet Manager Scott – But feel free to get as creative as you want, after all our Country only turns 250 years old once.
