Wednesday through Thursday it would seem that the weather our “West Central” (Ionia County) area was not supposed to get is now “likely” to get some winter weather.
Earlier tonight, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory. Basically….if you’re a long time Michigan person, you know that it simply means to be careful in driving, and allow extra time in your travels.
If you didn’t know, on FM 92-7 from WION in Ionia, you get artist, title and the forecast 24/7 as it cycles through….but, during times of bad weather, thanks to our newer Radio Data Service software, you also get watches, warnings and advisories ADDED to the usual content that shows up on MOST car FM radios these days. If it’s not showing up, hit the “info” button a couple times to rotate through the different offerings of data.
