The post below was written around 9 AM…..now, the storms are showing two separate cells aiming at Michigan, with Ionia “possibly” in between the two…..but then farther back is one cell pretty much right on line with our area if it doesn’t change it’s track. I’ll call it the “split then the hit”…and, as I said on the radio, I’m not a meteorologist, nor do I claim to know how all this “weather stuff” works..but I’d lay odds the first two strom systems go to the North and South of us in Ionia proper, giving us only PART of the brunt…then, maybe we could be a target for that third, farther west cell. Again, I’m guessing at this by looking at radar from 11AM. We’ll be around and have our generator ready to go “just in case” and we’ll be in-studio as needed.
Guests with us in the studio today from MCC, with much to talk about, we’ll be giving away passes to the pancake breakfast which is part of the annual Montcalm Heritage Festival on August 5th…..
Watching the weather..a line of thunderstorms is forming and coming our way…we’ll be here if any warnings get issued for our (terrestrial) listening area.
Lots to talk about this morning with Montcalm Community College representatives today!
