Jim has worked with WION announcer, “Steve the Voice Guy” for about 30 yeaers as both were on the air at WITL in Lansing, often working back to back shows on the weekend. Steve became the voice of a station (now gone, sold off by a University that didn’t know the value) which Jim managed….then, when WION came into being, Steve was one of the most enthusiastic people to bring on board! He’s been the “image voice” of WION since day one, he voices the image of WGLM, our sister station, and can be hired for “on hold” voicework, narrations, and any other needs you have! Reach out to him, and while you’re at it…thank him for all the great work at WION! He’s “heard” more than any other announcer!
