And, I apologize for the late post….it’s been a bit of a strange week personally. So, here’s the weekend rundown:

Saturday night, Barry Scott takes to the air-chair with “The Lost 45’s”…..from 6 to 9 PM.  What’s the theme, Barry?

“We pay tribute to one of the leaders of Procol Harum, Keith Reid, who passed away last week. In a never-before aired interview, we cover their hits (including “Whiter Shade of Pale” & “Conquistador”) and shuddabeens. Plus, Keith chatted about artists he worked with, Top 40 music and how they got their unusual name.”

Sunday morning from 8 to 11, Join in the fun with tommy Kay as he plays 80’s favorites on “The Totally 80’s Flashback”.  And remember, we’re out to show him how ACTIVE our listeners are with real radio…so call in a request ANY TIME…(now is great)…to 844-80-TOMMY…..his personal studio number…and get your favorite on the air!  Tommy’s an 80’s music expert and this show, now celebrating about a month on WION’s Sunday mornings is a great way to start your Easter preparations for family.

If you missed Randy Edwards’  program, “Edwards’ Archives” early on Saturday when the Ionia Moose is our sponsor, don’t miss it Sunday afternoon when the Lamplight Grill is in the spotlight as our show sponsor.  You’ll love this program going back to THIS WEEK in a (much) previous year…..on WION.

Next week on WION’s J and J Midday show, the usual schedule of fun continues, with…”Anything Goes Monday”  and, “Text Topic Tuesday” ….then a new trivia or game on “Win from WION Wednesday”….and of course, our “Mostly Request Thursday.”

Remember, you can text our studios ANY TIME  at the number below…

Someone Else’s station on our FM’s Frequencies?

It happens.  It's callled, "“tropospheric ducting.”"  It's weather related. I can assure you, with the exception of piss-poor internet service from TWO different companies we require to bring 100.3 in Lowell to you, any other station coming in LOCALLY on our frequency making us fight to be heard is […]
