Just wanted to let anyone concerned know that we ARE aware of the outage of Lowell’s 100.3, WION-FM.
It appears to have started about 5:30 this morning, the 10th of December, and came ON again about an hour later, but is off as of this writing at 9:45 Wednesday morning.
When the weather clears for safer traveling and I can get a vehicle to the site, we’ll investigate. The equipment is et to automatically shut down when audio is not being received, per FCC regulations. We’re glad that it does, it saves needless trips to the site to shut things down when equipment fails.
This time it is NOT our broadband from Point-Broadband.
In the meantime, use your phones, tablets, PCs, Internet Radios, Alexa devices and Google devices to enjoy WION in AM Stereo!
