A couple of years ago, a YouTube content creator named Shango066 worked on an AM stereo portable radio, found to be a prototype from Motorola. We contacted him about WION being in AM stereo, and our engineer Greg who is undeniably the expert on this type of broadcasting and this type of radio. Someone Else’s station on our FM’s Frequencies?
It happens. It's callled, "“tropospheric ducting.”" It's weather related. I can assure you, with the exception of piss-poor internet service from TWO different companies we require to bring 100.3 in Lowell to you, any other station coming in LOCALLY on our frequency making us fight to be heard is purely a weather related phenomenon.
