Apparently not all of the segments for the countdown this week made it to “air” on WION.

While there is no reschedule of this three-hour program feature, you CAN catch his segments missed on his website this week.  Barry always releases the show on his site AFTER they’ve played on local affiliates.  Visit his website here.

Sometimes technology lets us down.  Programs you hear on WION such as our Townhall News, The Totally 80’s flashback and others are automatically “grabbed” from their varioius sources and then processed, re-numbered and installed for play in our computers.  It’s a very nice system.  But it fails now and then.

In this case, it got angry.  We were attempting to replace the retired “Into Tomorrow” with Dave Graveline and spent a couple hours  with a new program vendor whose feature we thought you’d enjoy.  We tried and tried to make the download work for their daily file system, and it would not, so we gave up.  Apparently our downloader did not like the repeated tries to do this, and developed a problem, but it gave us no indication visually or with any other “regular” download.

So, there you have it…..in trying to replace a retiring feature, another was temporarily damaged.

We can’t go back in time, nor is there a rebroadcast time set aside for Barry’s show, so we encourage you to go to his website and enjoy the segments that did not properly air.
