As most any long-term advertiser on WION will tell you, once you’re “on” with us, you may be purchasing, say, “40” commercial runs per month, but…we add-in more when there’s room to do so in our programming!  It’s one way we TAKE CARE OF our clients who buy packages of advertising from us.

That having been said, we ALSO want to celebrate our 20th anniversary with NEW advertisers, who will, over time, find that LOCAL RADIO is THE place to be with advertising!  So, as we take care of our longtime loyal advertising businesses with extra commercials and the occasional on-air mention, we don’t want to exclude “new” advertisers on WION…so…

We’re happy to announce our “20th anniversary” special packages (below.)  ALL packages have some kind of discount, noting the “Inform” package only gets discounted in 6-month or 12-month via prepay because it’s already a HUGE value, (and our most popular package.)

Help us bring NEW advertisers to WION, which, in turn, helps their business GROW.  It’s what we’ve been doing for 20 years come September 1st, and we’re PROUD of the fact we’eve been able to offer LOCAL radio (not from a satellite dish or talk radio) which is locally programmed for nearly two decades!  (now on AM Stereo 1430, FM 92-7in Ionia County, and on FM 100.3 in Kent County.)

Please share this post with any business you think should join us on WION as an advertiser!….and, thanks to our long-term advertisers who have brought us THIS far on our quest to keep local radio alive in Small Town, USA!

Someone Else’s station on our FM’s Frequencies?

It happens.  It's callled, "“tropospheric ducting.”"  It's weather related. I can assure you, with the exception of piss-poor internet service from TWO different companies we require to bring 100.3 in Lowell to you, any other station coming in LOCALLY on our frequency making us fight to be heard is […]
