Streaming difficulties on Sunday were weather related at our carrier…..

For a while on Sunday, our station and many that are carried by live365 were unable to be played on any devices like your google, amazon, and even our own website.

The Dallas area was hit with very bad storms as was much of Texas over the weekend, and apparently that is where a data center that is Major for our carrier is located. We apologize if you missed any programming or if it had issues in delivery to you including but not limited to timing being off, repeating of segments etc. Strange things happen when a stream is interrupted anywhere along the line and please remember the streaming is not yet today even as much as science as is broadcasting of AM. and FM directly to you.

This note was sent to affiliates of life365 early Sunday:

From Live365. We are aware of an ongoing outage impacting Live365. This is due to a power outage in our primary data center hosting Live365 in Dallas, TX. Despite fully redundant power, both sides of our power were dropped. This was triggered due to storms in Dallas, TX.  We have staff on-site at the data center and all hands on deck to get this restored. We will provide full transparency into the situation and ensure everyone is taken care of.

We hope that this did not inconvenience you too much throughout the Sunday listening, and that all things are cleared up in time for memorial day Monday on which we will be broadcasting our special program, “Heroes Across the Lands” at noon and 6:00 p.m. on memorial day Monday.

Stay safe in your holiday travels and take us along with you anywhere you go!

Someone Else’s station on our FM’s Frequencies?

It happens.  It's callled, "“tropospheric ducting.”"  It's weather related. I can assure you, with the exception of piss-poor internet service from TWO different companies we require to bring 100.3 in Lowell to you, any other station coming in LOCALLY on our frequency making us fight to be heard is […]
