Izzy is a January 1st puppy, As I write this she’s 20 weeks old plus or minus a few days. I tend to forget that, because the “puppy-like” features have already started to melt into the “dog” look. Yet, she still has and WILL HAVE for awhile that puppy curiosity, some occasional “uh-oh’s” in the house or studio, and will continue to need training for awhile.
She’s loving, curious, quick, very vocal at times, has spurts of energy more than enough to power a radio station, yet she can sit right next to you and just fall (oomph) against you as if to say, “I’m here, you’re my family, we’re together.”
I love this little ball of energy. She can still curl up “small” but is growng to loveseat-size and at the studios has a favorite perch in our front room where she can look out on the world on good days.
I have to publicly admit, I still miss my “Isabelle” who went home to her maker in March, I still cry now and then at unpredictable times over her not being here, and I hung her collar in WION’s middle room, where a few pictures reside…and her ashes are in the studio as well as they were provided in a classy wooden urn. She’ll always be what many have called my “soul” dog….However, my new Izzy loves me, greets me, plays with me, and gives me company at home when its quiet, and
when I work alone at the studio. PLUS she absolutely adores my midday cohost, Justin as he plays with her quite a bit, too.

When I wrote this, Facebook had been down about 15 minutes. It's near an hour now. Messed up pretty good with things showing in the wrong categories, some people not able to get "in" while others have different issues. It's "all over the place." The funny part is, "Downdetector […]
