Good News for Lowell!  The “Broadcast Hill” weatherstation, located on Lowell’s City broadcast site near the NE water plant is back online!  You can get the latest weather forecasts, rain total, wind speed, temperature, and more from this cooperative effort between WION and the City of Lowell.  It’s available on our website anytime on the link adjacent to WION’s studio link on our main page!  You can copy the link if you like for your hometown Lowell weather anytime on your device, but of course, we’d love it if you ‘d continue stopping by here on our WION site for more information about what’s happening at our station and in your town.

This weekend on WION kick off your saturday morning with Randy Edwards’ program, “Edwards’ Archives” from 8 to 9!  He’ll take us back in time to this weekend of the year 1968!  Don’t miss this show, brought to you on Saturdays by the Ionia Moose Lodge…and…for those of you who can’t catch it on Saturday morning, it’ll play in “Encore” presentation on Sunday afternoon at 3PM brought to you by the Lamplight Grill in downtown Ionia.

Saturday night from 6 to 9 PM, if you’re in a “Summer” mood as a bit of warmer weather hits, you’re in the right place for “Summer songs” on Barry Scott’s “Lost 45’s” program from 6 to 9PM with your sponsor (again) the Lamplight Grill.   Barry promises “Lost 45” Conversations from Brian Wilson, Terry Jacks, Richard Marx, Bobby Goldsboro, Barry Williams (“Greg Brady”) and Ron Altbach of King Harvest & Celebration! Plus, a “Hot” 3-fer and plenty of Summer surprises!
Let Barry you enjoy his show by emailing, “barry@lost45.com”

Sunday morning from 8 to 11AM, don’t miss our trip back to the 1980’s and your host, Tommy Kay. Tommy brings you “Totally 80’s Flashback” and invites your calls to the show for requests at 844-80-TOMMY.  Visit his show on Facebook using the same name, and let him know you enjoy this Sunday show on WION!

We’ll see you Monday morning at 9AM for the J and J Midday show, with Justin and I….and an “anything goes Monday”…..on AM stereo 1430, FMs 92-7 and 100.3, or on any device, anywhere.

Have a fun and safe weekend!
