The BIG news for the radio industry came while I was driving today. It seems Ford Motor Company has reversed it’s decision to remove AM radio from it’s 2024 vehicles! Brian Winnekins who headed up the grass-roots effort in Wisconsin which grew through the farm community he serves got larger and larger til it reached legislative circles, and is now making a difference at Ford. Let’s hope other manufacturers of automobiles catch on as well. Here’s the story as carried by TV-8 via the AP. We thank TV-8 for it’s coverage.
